The paintings were originally completed for display at an art gallery in Hackney Wick, London. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis canvas is split into two halves to show the classic kitsch hamburger style landline telephone. I always wanted one of these phones when I was younger but never had one. I still love the colourful retro design of this kind of novelty telephone. Unlike a lot of my paintings this one shows a human hand holding the object, and two comic book style panels to show the phone open and closed. The simple pop art style and sky blue background are consistent.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe end result is a canvas that would brighten up any room in the house.
