Cut to present day, this piece continues an unplanned series of paintings featuring 'things shaped like birds that aren't birds' - a pink plastic flamingo, a rubber duck, and a swan boat, as can be seen in the rest of my shop. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe background is a simple 1970s inspired pattern meant to represent a typical wallpaper of the era, but painting by hand, using stencils and Posca paint pens. The end result is a cute, decorative piece of art that would look great hung in the home of similar lover of kitsch, vintage design.
