One of the largest ever paintings in my pop art food series is this canvas depicting a standard box of fried chicken, chips, and ketchup. It may seem unusual but I see it as my equivalent of Andy Warhol's soup can, and an instantly recognisable symbol of city-living but rendered in a bright, eye-catching way.
Across the UK these type of chicken shops are everywhere, and whilst I know fast food is unhealthy, this painting is intended more as a fun homage to fried chicken and a celebration of city living than a critique on anything. The food objects are suspended against my trademark blue background as per my standard style. Included is an image showing me standing next to it with the same box depicted. It's a bold, colourful and unique piece that is sure to light up any room in the house.
