This painting shows a classic double lolly 'popsicle', as they're generally known in the US. I don't think these colourful ice lollies every had a specific name or brand when I was younger. What made them novel was the double stick and the fact you could break them into two and share them, or just have two for yourself, which was often more likely the case. I went for a purple coloured lolly as these are the ones I most remember seeing as a kid.
The end result is a colourful painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.
