This painting depicts the pink, foot-shaped, Funny Feet lolly. The bold cartoon-like shape and soft pink colour of Funny Feet always appealed to me as a kid when I saw them on the side of the ice cream van, despite the fact that when you stop to think about it, a confectionary made to look like a foot is a pretty weird thing. Made up of strawberry ice cream, Walls stopped production of Funny Feet in the 90s but brought the retro treat back into production again in 2014.
The end result is a colourful painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.
