This is an acrylic painting of a fried egg on a mini canvas, but it's an egg with a rare double egg yolk inside. Double yolkers are thought to occur in less than 0.1% of eggs – or one in 1,000. The rarity led people in the past to label them as being lucky for the person who finds them.
It is a colourful and unique piece that is sure to light up any room in the house, but it would probably look best in the kitchen.
The end result is a small but bright and bold painting that would look great in any home, or serve as a great gift for the food lover in your life. My previous customers have also often bought more than one of these smaller canvases as they look great hung together - see the last picture.
