The canvas is 25cm in diameter (straight across), 81cm around the edge (circumference), and 1.5cm thick. There's a picture of my wife holding the canvas to give you an idea of its size. It is painted in acrylic paints and is signed on the back frame.

This latest painting returns to a familiar subject for me, my favourite fruit, the watermelon. It's also the fourth work I've produced on a circular canvas, only in this case the shape of the surface matches the subject.
I've painted the watermelon in my usual pop art style, aiming for colourful graphic impact rather than realism. I feel like the round shape of the canvas, the contrasting red and green colour fields, and the super straight line in the middle (achieved using masking tape), all combine to create a satisfying, colourful, and bold piece that would brighten up the room in any house.
It is painted in acrylic paints and is signed on the back frame.
